Run for a Purpose | Walk for a Cause | Jog for the Next Generation

At PMI South Florida, we don’t just manage projects—we build stronger communities. The PMI South Florida Chapter’s 2nd Annual 5K is more than just a race; it’s an opportunity to give back, grow together, and make a lasting impact.

☑ 📅 Date: Saturday, April 18, 2026
☑ 📍 Location: Markham Park, Sunrise, FL
☑ 🕖 Time: Registration starts at 7:00 AM, and the 5K begins at 8:00 AM.

We invite you to join us in a powerful, purpose-driven event that combines fitness, networking, and philanthropy.

Whether you run, jog, or walk, your participation directly supports children and families in our community. Together, we are taking strides toward a brighter future—and we want you to be part of it!

Our Mission: Why We Run

The PMI South Florida 5K is built on four key objectives that align with PMI South Florida’s mission:

☑ Champion Health and Well-Being – Inspire project management professionals and the broader community to prioritize physical activity and stress management as essential components of personal and professional success.

☑ Build Stronger Connections – Strengthen the PMI South Florida network by creating meaningful opportunities for members, volunteers, and industry leaders to engage, collaborate, and grow together in an active, dynamic environment.

☑ Empower the Next Generation – Raise awareness and secure vital resources to support initiatives that cultivate and develop future project leaders, ensuring they have the tools and guidance to succeed.

☑ Elevate PMI South Florida’s Impact – Demonstrate the chapter’s commitment to holistic growth, community engagement, and forward-thinking professional development that extends beyond certifications and into real-world impact.

☑ 💡 This is more than a run—it’s a statement of who we are as project managers and as a community!

Making an Impact: Supporting the Danielle DeMarzo Foundation

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Danielle DeMarzo Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and families and creating opportunities for the next generation to thrive.

Every step you take on April 18 helps advance this mission and honors Danielle’s legacy of care and compassion.

(Exact run start time, warm-up activities, and awards schedule will be shared with registered participants as we get closer to race day.)

Enjoy a morning of movement, music, and motivation as you connect with fellow project professionals and community members.
