This Lunch & Learn is open to all project management professionals and aspiring PMs — no PMI membership required.

Despite unemployment sitting near full-employment levels, many PMs experience unexpectedly long job searches, increased competition, and a rapidly shifting hiring landscape shaped by AI-driven tools. Scott Singer, Certified Professional Resume Writer and Career Coach at Insider Career Strategies, brings over 20 years of corporate recruiting experience to share what actually works: how to leverage networking, build a visible professional reputation, and present yourself authentically in a market where AI-generated applications are becoming noise.

He will also address how project managers can apply their own PM skills — structured thinking, stakeholder awareness, and risk analysis — to run a more strategic job search.

The session runs approximately 35 minutes, followed by a 10-minute open discussion. Registration is free and open to all; attendees will be invited to opt in to future PMI South Florida communications at sign-up.
